Ultimation's offer also includes two devices dedicated primarily to customers working in the lamp and lamp-shade industry: the SWU-1 semi-automatic rotary welding machine and the three-electrode PFB welding machine.

The SWU-1 welding machine is dedicated to welding lamp-shade frames, the so-called "Spider veins". It allows you to quickly connect individual "legs" to the rim or washer of the lamp frame. Thanks to the precise control of the angle of rotation of the handle holding the wheel, the work does not require any prior marking of the weld spots on the ring. The machine ensures proper positioning of all "legs" and their even distribution, so that at a later stage of production, the lower ring can be easily welded using a conventional spot welding machine.

The PFB welding machine is a device that enables butt welding ("T") of lamp-shade rims or frames with legs. It is equipped with three electrodes, and their pressing movement is performed by pneumatic actuators. The position of each electrode can be adjusted individually to the geometry of the lamp-shade. The so-called "leg" is clamped between the upper and lower electrode, and the horizontal electrode presses it against the wheel.
